4. Follow Up

APPROVED USES

Restylane® and Restylane-L®

Restylane® and Restylane-L® are two options for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. They are also indicated for injection into the lips in patients over the age of 21.

Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine

Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is used for deep implantation into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and cheek augmentation, and the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies in patients over the age of 21. It is also indicated for injection into the subcutaneous plane in the dorsal hand to correct volume deficit in patients over the age of 21.

Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk is ideal for those looking for lip augmentation, along with the correction of perioral wrinkles in patients over the age of 21.

Restylane® Refyne and Restylane® Defyne

Both options are the perfect option for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in patients over the age of 21.

TREATMENT METHOD

Administration

Using an injection, a clear hyaluronic acid-based gel is inserted underneath the skin.

Duration

A typical session lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, but this will depend on the number of injections needed. Follow-up sessions are shorter, and take about 15 minutes to complete.

Effectiveness

The time results last depend on the area treated. In general, results usually last between six and 18 months.

What is the recovery time after treatment?

There is little to no downtime with Restylane treatments, with patients being able to go about their normal routines. However, in the 24 hours following treatment, our physicians do recommend avoiding sun exposure, strenuous activities, and extreme heat or cold.
